HIM are one of those bands who just keep getting better and better each CD they release. They've got their own style though, more of a kind that would have fit in with the darker side of romanticism muso that we got in the late 80's/early 90's ... but they are truly exceptional ... n' I'll be there in January, livin it up at their gig in Notts. (UK)

I have seen HIM three times so far: the first one was a blast, the second one was truly disappointing, and the last one was somehow bearable but again far away from the first one.
The same thing that fucked up the Backyard Babies with Making Enemies Is Good (that is let's make a punk-rock band sound like Robbie Williams), happened to HIM. Yet, they got even bigger following, and it is paying back.
